Restful weekend...

hey guys,

we had a great last week and had a great restful weekend. friday when we got home from work chandler worked on the yard and i went to run. that night we just relaxed and got ready for saturday. saturday morning chandler went to go get his new bike and all the gear that comes with riding and i went to an appointment at the salon. we got home and admired chan's new 'baby' and we got ready for a bbq with our friends ed and becca. i forgot my camera all weekend...but then we went to the pool and it almost immediatly started raining and lightening...so we had to get out. chan went and played kickball and some other games witht he guys after the rain ended and i finished the night with a glass of wine and a good tv movie. this morning we tried another church and i think we are going to go back, we liked it and think it might be a good fit.

i never take naps because i kinda feel that it is a waste of my precious free time, but today i went to go get things picked up in our room and stoped to sit on the bed to watch something on tv... 2 hours later chan walked in and caught me in a nap ha ha. he always takes naps and i give him a hard time, but i must have needed the rest!

next weekend we are going to ft worth to spend the 4th weekend with friends...next post will have a ton of pictures!!! everyone have a great short week and a great fourth!!

we went to the lake yesterday with luke and amy senter... friends from college. we had a good time and then cooked out at our house afterwards. it was fun and relaxing... not much going on this week but running working and sleeping! chan is starting to bike again so he is getting all his stuff together for that! hope everyone has a good week!!!

whats happening...

this past week seems like it was so busy for us. it started sunday running our 6 miles for our training. that really kicked out butts andwe were really tired. we ended up cleaning up and going to get some lunch and then to the grocery store. it was a good trip because we werent hungry and we felt good about our run, so we bought mostly healthy stuff!

monday started our weeks at work and we were both really busy all week, work wise. some friends and i have been trying to meet for happy hour once a week or every other week. last week was kona grill at north park in dallas and this week was ft worth week (more than half of us live in ft worth, just kelly and i live in Dallas) we went to chimi's this week and had a really good time. we had good chips and hot sauce and queso and a few beers. then for the rest of the week we ran and worked until friday. friday morning i got up at 4:45 to run my 3 miles because we were meeting chels and matt for dinner and i didnt want to have to run and then rush to dinner. i felt good running in the morning but i was tired.

this morning we worked in our flower beds cleaning then up... i got bad lines from the racerback tank top i was wearing so this afternoon we went to the pool and tried to get rid of them. not much luck but at least we tried. i also cut chandler's mom's hair today... it was good to have a little visit.

tonight we are 'laying low' watching 'weeds' on dvd and eating pizza and having a glass of wine (or two!)

tomorrow starts out week again. next week i will have pictures from a birthday party 'cookout' we are going to.

pool lake running wedding... a lot going on!

we have had a busy few weeks. this weekend was pretty busy as well... friday me, shelby, tami, kelly, and keegan went to the sex and the city movie in downtown ft worth and then out for sushi and drinks afterwards for a girls night. it was so fun and i LOVED the movie! the guys were at shelby and brandons house playing tiger woods golf and having a guys night complete with beer-ritas. the next morning we ALL went to the lake worth 5k to run!! we were waiting for the awards because our friend kelli got third place in her age divivson... 25-30 or something and right before her division came mine, 21-24 or something like that and i got third in my division. ui had no clue and wasnt expecting that, it was pretty funny! last night we went to our friends paula and ambrose's wedding. it was very pretty and a lot of fun. this morning we went to the lake with the jet ski and now are cleaning and getting ready for our week. hope everyone else has a great week coming up!
