well....
we have been here and there and everywhere.
a couple of weekends ago we celebrated my birthday at Zanata's in rockwall with our families where i got some great b-day stuff!
this has been a busy month for us. last weekend was my 25th birthday and we celebrated by going to the texas coast of Freeport! it was awesome, thanks to my boss letting us use his beach house for the weekend!
tami bryson, shelby brandon, chelsea and matt came with chandler and i to celebrate! i will post pictures from the weekend later tonight! we started by getting there late thursday night and celebrating with sprinkles cupcakes!! chan did such a great job! it was soo much fun and the weather was great! the girls even found a diamond in the rough when we went out on a search for charcoal for the grill...it was a bait shop with 5 dollar pitchers of beer, and we stopped to have one or two. it was pretty funny that we stumbled on it and the guys were upset that they didnt find it first ha ha. the name of it was ernies. we also ate the night before at a place called the red snapper and the food was pretty good, fresh seafood is hard to beat! i got a gift card from all my girls to Groovy's the best boutique in rockwall! chan got me a pink ipod (forget its name) for me to run with and also i book i have been wanting!!
running and biking have also been taking up our lives. chandler rides at white rock lake most every day of the week and i run 5 days a week (training for the marathon) last night i ran 9 miles and felt pretty good. i am feeling more and more like i can run the marathon, but i try to just train week by week and not worry about the long distance from one week to the next. i start to worry when i do that!
this weekend we have nothing planned and we are so excited about it. Friday night we plan on watching the opening ceremony's of the olympics and doing whatever we want to the rest of the weekend.
next weekend we have the dave matthews concert and we are excited to go to that with tami and bryson and brandon and shelby!
our next BIG trip isnt scheduled until right after xmas. we are going on a cruise with the friends mentioned above and will be on it til the new year arrives!!! we are looking forward to that sooo much.
tonight we will be watching the 'so you think you can dance' finale and then i will try to get to my tivo'd recording of tori and dean: home sweet hollywood! i love that show and i dont care who knows it!

this last wednesday i went to houston with my parents for my cousin's new son (Jacob Matthew's) bris. it was so great to see my cousin jennifer, doug and zachary and the new baby jake. we also loved getting to spend time with linda and allan and all of their friends. what a great family and we are so lucky to have them. we always always enjoy the time we get to spend with them!!! the picture above is my cousin jennifer after a LONG get together for the bris. she was finally getting to wind down and enjoy some time just to sit!
