DRC HALF MARATHON!!!

well.... today was the 'half marathon' and it went really well for all of us that ran! that picture above is chan and i on the way to the race at 6:15 this morning... was was nervous

i was WAY excited to see chandler and tami and bryson!!! that was a little over half way thru and when chan plugged my watch in the afternoon it showed that my best mile was that next one... helps to have people there supporting you!!!!

chan and i after the race, if you run the race you get to go into a 'food tent' and i got 2 pieces of pizza and everyone thought it was funny.... hey i was a hungry girl. so, thats what chan is holding... my 'pizza sandwich'

all in all it was a great weekend...a fun friday with the husband and a great wedding shower for my friend chelsea on saturday and a great time with friends at the half marathon today!!!! this week we are on pins and needles for election day and then onto chans 27th birthday on thursday and then friday going to ft worth for joe t garcias and the flying saucer with our friends....see above....
