MARATHON 4hrs 22mins

soooo.... yes, folks i did it. 26.2 miles in four hours and twenty two minutes....
i couldnt have done it without all the support, especially from my awesome husband Chandler....he was my 'coach' and did a great job of keeping me motivated and going through ALL the training. he was so excited for me he hardly slept the night before...thank you to shelby and brandon too who ran it with me and trained all along the way too. thank you also to my parents, chans parents, and the beasley's (julie works with me) for coming out to support me. it means more than you guys will ever know... there were points that seeing all you guys got me thru!

now...enjoy the pictures out of order!!!! the one above is after the race in the AA center...i was tired

above my parents and me and chan after i crossed the line...look at those sweet flowers! beside that is me with the beasley family

exhausted... can you tell?? chan and i right when i finally found my family... i got teary eyed... i finally did it and did it well. what a sweet husband

me running with my pace leader to the right...that was about mile 21

me right before the race....i was nervous and excited ha ha

im there somewhere

there i am above coming towards friends and family...about mile 13

this pic to the right was at about mile 7 or 8 and i was still fresh and excited... especially to see family and friends ha ha...i wasnt too emotional yet ha ha

to the right...brandon and shelby running... we didnt run together, but we were pretty close

the last leg... that is chan giving me some 'electrolyte fruit snacks' and also encouraging words.... it was about mile 22 or so

signs like this were all along the way.... dont worry the sign wasnt lying.

right in the beginning... more fruit snacks or GU....they saved me during the race...

sorry its sideways... but this is us before we ran it... look how happy and fresh we look

me and chan before.... man oh man i was soooo anxious and nervous

writing shelbys name on her bib....they signed up late so it didnt have their names on their bibs, the positive thing that happens when you have your name on your bib, random people shout for you by name and encourage you... sometimes it is what keeps you moving....
and that is it my friends.... chan and i went to red robin for lunch afterwards... i hobbled in there and we ate a great lunch and had a BIG beer... hey i deserved it!
thanks for all the support... and YES i will do another one... ILL BE BACK
get ready!!!
